Our Favorite Baked Chicken Breast Recipe
Having a go-to chicken breast recipe has been a game-changer. We add chicken to everything - salads, ramen bowls, sheet pan meals - you name it. It's also great as a main dish with lots of veggies or with a dollop of guacamole on top!
This baked chicken recipe is flavor-packed, perfectly tender, and really easy to make. Whether we're making it for dinner or meal prepping for the week - this is hands down our favorite (and most used) baked chicken recipe.
INGREDIENTS:
Boneless Chicken Breasts
Butter
Salt + Pepper
Chili Powder
Cumin
Cayenne Pepper (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 400F degrees. Rinse the chicken breasts and pat dry with a paper towel.
Melt the butter by throwing it in the microwave or on low heat on the stove. We usually use about 1-2 tablespoons per chicken breast. Once the butter is melted, coat each chicken breast in the butter and place in an oven dish or on a sheet pan.
Season both sides with salt, pepper, chili powder, and cumin. If you want to add a little spice, throw a little bit of cayenne pepper on there too! You can get really creative with this - it really just depends on what spices you love!
If you want to make it extra tender and juicy, place a chunk of butter on top of each chicken breast, then throw it in the oven!
Bake for 30-35 minutes, and voila! Easy breezy, perfectly tender, flavor-packed baked chicken breasts, perfect for slicing up and adding to salads or ramen bowls, or as a main dish!
